Art of Painting

Let me start to tell you a short story. Presume that you are suddenly found yourselft watching a fight between a couple in the middle of the city. Man and woman are shouting to each other. But unfortunatelly man started to beat the woman. He is hitting.. At that moment another joined into the fight and they are trying to stop them. The square is crowded. Cloudy and cold weather. Almost breezy and frosty. 

Well, that is the all story. You know it and you have all details you need. But impossbile to find out the reason why that couple was fighting. So, your question is to paint this scenario. At the same time I am giving the same scenario to the kids they are five to seven years old. And the last of all, a famous painter will paint the same scenario.

At the end we are checking all paints. Assume, what we are going to find out. Including famous paitner all painted almost the same scene however the colours are slightly different and brush hits are different. Basically brush hit difference come from the ability of kids experience and their body capability. 

Almost typically all painters painted almost the same thing. However the ages are really different. Kids are 5 to 7. The others are 25 to 50 and the famous artist is 70 years old. So the question how this can be possible ? The variety of the ages are so different however  the painting results are very similar. Assume that I had asked all to paint daisy flowers in the spring time and at the countryside in a daisy field. What will be the result? It is not hard to guess, again all paitners will paint the daisies.. with slightly different scenes aspects.

So what can you think about these examples ? Why does all paitners paint similar scenes? remember that the ages are really so different?


These examples give an idea why art of paint should improve! 5 years old kids paint the same scenaio which means they use mentally similar technique and similar understanding of the scenario. They are transfering the scene what they see. Kids can not add abstract ideas and abstract brush hits into the paint becasue of the limit of the age ability. They can not transfer the scene to ideas. Which means they can not transfer the feeling to ideas or concepts.

Today art which is abstract art tells us the ability and the improvement of the human understanding and mental growth. We are a bit older than 5 years old today..
