Idea : space rocket 30MJ/kg is required for 7.8km/s to break the gravity. Hydrogen is normally used with big tanks.
Perhaps, it is not necessary.
E(J) = V(V) × Q(C) opposite electromagnetic power with two rings, one on the ground and one connected to rocket can make it easier.
Once rocket released than enough electric power can induce enough power to break the gravity. This method make space rocket tech much more easier & cheaper.
However sudden kinetic energy can hurt astronauts. Because 7.8km/s is obtained suddenly in a second. So those flights need to be tested remote control without astronauts until safety shield created for them.
Only pressured water tank may help to reduce the sudden kinetic movement and kill the high momentum! But it is not suitable for space rockets yet!
Another problem is heat.
9kWh= 32.4 Mj
Atlas rocket core ~4000kg
Which means => 36000kWh gives 32.4Mj/kg
1kg uranium gives 360,000kWh. 1 nuclear plant can create more than enough kWh for atlas rocket and they can sell the rest to electric market.
Which means I offer self feeding method in terms of cost for space programme.
Sure ROI can not be less than 1 year. It may be ~5 years depends on the investment cost.
The wrong methodology about space programme is to carry 971,000kg to able to carry 4000kg to space. That's why huge tanks of liquid hydrogen used for years.
Electromagnetic lift off will be next era of space programme if they have enough open minded tech people.
Also landing will be pretty easy with electromagnetic rings. Same poles repel, different poles attract. That's simple.
